    2. mad. sad. disapointed. We have been going in bad direction for a long time now with more fall than rise. We have lost all internal consistency. Getting back to where we were is like getting back on our feet after falling into a large hole that its unclear we will be able to climb out of.

    3. cetainly. 2025 is when the government itself broke its own laws as policy. Its not like one individual or one department or one town or even one state having that level of corruption. Because in those instances the government can identify and remediate in court. There is no ability to remediate currently because the entity that is supposed to do that. congress. Has over half its membership being complicit. So we are left with protests and the next elections.

    4. I think any country has to be nuts to trust that the us should run global entities and mechanisms and even if we somewhat normalize this shows we are very vulnerable to it happening again if we do not reinstate measures to protect against it and improve our system with things like rank choice voting and eliminating the electoral college and such. Honestly all human rights based democratic countries should rank other countries for how well they do human rights and how democratic they are, including themselves. They should then make it a point to have trade be freer for countris at their level or better and ironically put up increasing tarriffs as those countries move away from human rights and democracy.

    5. The economy is like a zombie and im out of work. Im also depressed and super unmotivated. Looking for work, doing interviews, picking up odd work. Its like moving through molasses. Im someone who is well educated and is motivated normally in a way where I am usually a great boon for anything im working with. I feel like im the worst I can be as far as contributing. Only exception is protesting and very local things with my neighbors and such where I find a bit more energy.

    6. this sucks.

    It gets me how much people don’t get about the constitution. The bill of rights was directly from what caused the civil war. Lack of expression, limiting ability to be armed, lack of due process, involuntary search and seizure, minimum rights around the due process, not overriding local authority. The only thing not broken by the administration as far as I know, and I like 100% would not be surprised if somewhere out there was an example of this. But its the quartering of soldiers. It was 10 lines that must not be crossed for the society to be free (granted two were reiterating and specifying that no federal power was to be assumed but only what was given to it since the consitution is ratified by the states and people ).
