It gets me how much people don’t get about the constitution. The bill of rights was directly from what caused the civil war. Lack of expression, limiting ability to be armed, lack of due process, involuntary search and seizure, minimum rights around the due process, not overriding local authority. The only thing not broken by the administration as far as I know, and I like 100% would not be surprised if somewhere out there was an example of this. But its the quartering of soldiers. It was 10 lines that must not be crossed for the society to be free (granted two were reiterating and specifying that no federal power was to be assumed but only what was given to it since the consitution is ratified by the states and people ).
