We know that trump was lying about Renee Good and Alex Pretti because people had their phones with them.

Use your phone if you HAPPEN to see something to record while incidentally out and about. If you’re SPECIFICALLY putting yourself out there to protest, document, or obstruct action, it’s insane to bring your actual phone - get a dumb digital camera. It comes with MUCH less liability, and from a purely practical point of view you don’t wind up trying to explain to your phone company why your phone being stomped into bits by a Nazi should be covered by the insurance. Not to mention you can pop the SD card and hide it if you need to. It’s just smarter.

A phone can upload automatically, so even if they take it the video is out there.

Just use a burner phone bought with cash.

          Nah.

With a phone you can have it automatically upload. Can’t do that with a digital camera.

The best advice is to get a burner phone bought with cash with a plan also bought with cash.

Definitely don’t bring your own homebrew stingray device to scrape data from the personal phones of gravy-seals.

No, seriously, it’s probably a huge FCC violation.
