    What? It had nothing to do with sports. Like yeah, its a Superbowl thing but the halftime show has long past been more of a cultural thing than a sports thing. People that perform at it likely don’t give a shit about the sport either way, and neither do many of the people that watch specifically (or only) the Super bowl.

    The message was clear and it was aimed at every single person watching American or not, sports fan or not.

      Imagine having the final of your favourite sport turn into an entertainment/cultural show …

          Agree that sport and culture have a lot in common, but at this point the sports-part feels like it’s merely a side event to the half time show

                I don’t normally watch football, but it was a pretty good game. Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots. The Patriots make it to the superbowl often and have had a reputation for playing dirty at times. The Seahawks barely lost to them a few years ago, so this was a very nice comeback, also it’s only their second time winning the superbowl. They put up a fantastic defense and for a while people thought the Patriots wouldnt get to score any points at all.
