Discord is only good for live conversation. Forums are good for information consolidation and general long term discussions about anything.

They tend to be libertarians and think they can ‘engineer’ out all the world’s problems.

I just want to be able to web search shit from forums like I used to be able to 10+ years ago.

I hope this means people will slowly start going back to forums. Highly doubt it though.

Google makes way more on services so I don’t think they are making that much off the phones.

Now it’s expensive to even build one of those servers. I just play my discs and rip them to a hdd collection. I just do it the ghetto way by having a usb hub hooked up to an nvidia shield with some hdds.

Any sub 500 dollar gpu can play any game that’s not ray traced unreal engine 5 slop. Lots of games to choose from the last 40+ years. The only limiting factor is ram prices sadly.
