This guy violated his travel visa and overstayed. He was in the middle of the greencard process after marrying a US citizen and received exemption while he waits. Trump isn’t honoring these exemptions anymore and sending ICE after these people. We’ve been seeing this happen a lot with people who originally violated the terms of their visa and tried making things right afterwards but aren’t yet greencard holders.

It’s literally impossible to make it through the green card process without overstaying your visa. The Excutive branches choices to violate court orders, ignore due process, and erase everyone’s constitutional rights is a fair bit more than “not honoring exemptions anymore”. The right (and you apparently) keep trying to justify the daily atrocities by claiming that if people only followed the law they wouldn’t be targeted; that is patently and obviously false.

Selective enforcement was always implied/expected. You can see it all over their surprised MAGAchu faces when they break the law and get arrested. Their parasocial relationship to their dear leader causes them to literally expect preferential treatment because of their loyalty / skin tone.

So they dgaf about people following the law. They just hate brown people.
